Protecting the Environment and Serving the Community

Pure Renewable Energies has a mission to protect the environment and serve the community by providing energy from renewable resources. Renewable resources are those that do not deplete with use, for example, wind, biomass and solar.

We are developing a portfolio of wind farms, taking our projects through the life cycle from initial site assessment, planning application, finance, construction, operation and maintenance to de-commissioning.

There is growing demand for electricity, and here in the UK there are significant and growing concerns about reducing carbon emissions and security of supply. Electricity produced from wind energy is both clean, and utilises an abundant local natural resource. (The UK has the best wind resource in Europe). As electricity is expensive to transport and difficult to store, it makes sense to produce it close to where and when it will be used. This means that wind farms are effectively distributed power stations, protecting the local environment and serving the local community. Typically a four turbine wind farm will produce enough electricity to meet the needs of over 5,000 homes.

We offer a free technical and commercial evaluation service to landowners who are interested to find out if their site is suitable for a wind farm development. Landowners with suitable sites can do their bit to help protect the environment and earn a guaranteed income for 25 years.

Pure Renewable Energies has been established in the North East since 2005. They joined the Esh Group in 2008, and the management team have a wealth of experience in the renewable energy, planning and civil engineering sectors.
